The Cytoseal Mounting Medium is a clear colorless medium with low viscosity. This maintain the specimen's original quality almost indefinitely. This product is ideal for use with cover glass. It is sold individually in a quantity of 4 oz.

The Cytoseal XYL Mounting Medium is composed of high-quality synthetic resins and antioxidant that eliminates the chance of fading or yellowing of specimens. This product can also be dried quickly, which permits specimen examinations right after the application of the medium. It is packaged and sold in a 4 oz. bottle that has a twist-open cap.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Mirsky's Fixative Ready-to-Use 1 LT
Saponin/Glyoxylate fixative is for use in immunohistological and immunological protocols. It contains no formaldehyde or glutaraldehyde giving it reduced toxicity and virtually no odor. Neutral, buffered, and isotonic (308 mOsmol). Additionally, Mirsky's Fixative does not contain toxic or hazardous buffers such as cacodylate or barbital.
Double reactive sites afford excellent cross-linking properties while maintaining sample enzyme activity. Samples processed in Mirsky's Fixative for light microscopy can subsequently be used in electron microscopy procedures.

Hartman fixative which is also known as Davidson fixative contains acetic acid alcohol and formalin. It is widely used for the preservation of eye bone marrow breast testis and other tissues for histologic examination.
Electron Microscopy Sciences Davidson's (Hartmann's) Fixative, 1 L
This is rapid fixative. Results with good nuclear detail and minimal formalin pigment. Hatmann's (Davidson's) Fixative is useful for preparing tumors, bone marrow, gynecologic specimen, fatty breast, medical biopsies. Fixation of small specimen is rapid. Exposure to the fixative should be limited to 24 hours (tissue may then be transferred to neutral buffered formalin or 70% alcohol for storage). Based on the volume of 1125 ml solution, there is 2 part Formalin (35-39%), 3 part Ethanol, 1 part Glacial Acetic acid, and 3 part of tap water.
